Doug McMaster was recently EVP of Product Development for ComboCurve, a petroleum, scheduling, forecasting, and emissions prediction platform. Doug has 11 years of experience as a petroleum engineer and software developer, developing unconventional shale oil assets and creating tools to make businesses more profitable, predictable, and flexible.

He is passionate about building solutions and sharing with others. He is excited to help the industry turn decarbonization goals into executed plans side-by-side with the economics.

In his spare time, he volunteers for Dallas CASA as a Court Appointed Special Advocate providing medical, legal, and educational advocacy for abused children. He currently provides advice on the External Advisory Committee (EAC) for The University of Texas at Austin Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering on industry trends and enhance teaching excellence.
